X-Tinxion

While primarily a thrash metal band, X-Tinxion incorporates influences from other genres, blending fast, old-school thrash metal riffs with melodic passages to create its own, distinctive sound. Vocally, X-Tinxion goes above and beyond the female-fronted thrash band, with soaring vocals and a massive range that alternates from haunting screams to dark grunts and growls to create a sound that is simultaneously aggressive and melodic. Together, these qualities allow X-Tinxion to bridge the gap between modern and authentic nostalgic thrash.

With their 2016 release ‘’From The Ashes of Eden’’ the band’s full shows its full potential. Edgy solos, bold drum work, blend together with quality songwriting and smart, witty lyrics that take a hold of the listener with catchy melodies.

The main story of the album revolves around the transcendence of humanity. It deals with the human tendency to destruct while searching to better itself, particularly in the tracks ´Amalgamation´ and ´In Progress´, the first and last track on the album. It shows the dark side of the human psyche, of its religions and science. It is about inner conflict and the fear of death. However, this pessimistic view on man-kind is also relieved by a sense of humor that also shows the touching naivety of the human race. Like a deity looking over its flock, the lyrics try to show the listener what happens after the loss of innocence. And it gives us new hope to see the loss of innocence as an opportunity to learn and rise From The Ashes Of Eden.
