Luíra´s music is an acquired taste: a unique blend of indigenous music, experimental alternative rock, classical- and folk music. She created her very own style with polyphonic voices, folk instruments, her Samidrum, throat singing and last but not least: joik.
Coming from classical music, and travelling later on through the thrilling world of metal with her band Adeia, this is something completely different and exciting. Luíra`s compositions and songs have a classical foundation and she builds bridges between the classical- and alternative world. Ancient viking-, folk-, and classical instruments come together in an interesting way: from a Sami framedrum, violin drum, jew`s harp, tagelharpe, hardingfele to (bone)percussion and classical instruments: a violin and viola. Finally, everything meets current music technology, which makes it a very enchanting journey!
